WHO SHOULD BE THE FACE OF MAVINS?

MAVINS.

Like 2face is to Hypertek, Wizkid is to EME, Iyanya for MMM. and Dbanj for DB records.
Since the departure of the Energetic Dbanj from the defunct mo'hits, i feel Don-Jazzy and his Mavins crew have not really stepped up like we thought they would though blessed with amazing talents like Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Dr Sid and D'Prince i feel like they've been stagnated and allowing other Labels who were on their tails overtake them most recognizable EME with the emergence of Wizkid both locally and internationally.

At a time Wande Coal was been Tagged or Touted as the next big thing in Nigeria a sell-able export to the international stage because of his amazing Vocals and Music skills, but since 2006 he signed there hasn't been any real step up in his brand, Not to point fingers but i think he has been under appreciated and mismanaged.

Now they've added Tiwa Savage to their ranks. This Lady is phenomenal dropping hits after hits either on her personal singles or collabo's she features, Recently dropped her Debut Album ONCE UPON A TIME wierd uhn seems like she has been around forever, Which as at  this weekend has climbed up to number 3 on African Itunes chart getting high rave views and commendation from her fans and peers, Plus ITS SOLD OUT! GBAM!

SO WHAT SHOULD BE DONE?
I think the management at Mavins Records ought to sit down,devise a plan and set their priorities.They should decide who is to become the new face of Mavins Post Dbanj era, Promote whom ever they pick insanely, hook him or her with one or two First-Class International Collabo's,Organize a standard International tour and rake in quality Endorsement. Ah Ah use guys get talent Use them!

SO WHO SHOULD BE CHOSEN?
I've got two option on my  mind Wande coal and Tiwa Savage, but i would lean towards Wande cuz this dude deserves it, his first album sold out, his contribution on the Mo'hits compilation  that followed was massive he was everybody's darling, regrettably this success wasn't followed up with him , he was sacrificed for some other people's interests. Wande can hold his own anywhere shown by his versatility and continuous relevance in the Nigerian music industry. So pick this dude up repackage him and sell him to the world not just Africa or Nigeria. And i bet this dude would bring the goodies home.
Tiwa on the other hand  joined mavins with  international pedigree already on her CV and lots of money spinning endorsement, you can't hold this Lady back either with mavins or not she's going places

CONCLUSION
 I would like to see mavins back where they belong. With the right people getting the credits they deserve for their talent and hard-work. Peace out!
