It's goalless at the break at Stamford Bridge, but Manchester City
dominated the opening 45 minutes against Chelsea. The Blues could have
gone ahead early through Alvaro Morata but he headed wide of the post.
From that point the Citizens took control and threatened through David
Silva and Fernandinho, with both players forcing saves from Thibaut
Courtois. City had moments on the break as well, but their final ball
was not good enough at the critical point.
Pep Guardiola will be satisfied with his side's
performance, but will want to see a killer instinct in the second half.
Antonio Conte will be concerned as his team were outplayed and are now
without Alvaro Morata for the second half after he was forced after 35
minutes. A crucial 45 minutes awaits for both teams.
