"KING OF THE STREET" .... BADDEST GUY EVER LIVET

“BADOO” KING OF THE STREETS

There is only one dude who can claim the above title at present in the Nigerian music industry and its no other than OLAMIDE YBNL this dude has been hot, setting the clubs, radio and TV airwaves on fire with the kind of songs that has you moving and shaking your bum bum and also appreciating the lyrical content. This guy is streets, understands the streets, speaks streets and belongs to the street that is why he is the darling of the streets and the UNDISPUTED KING OF THE STREETS at the moment.
He promised us his second album YBNL was going to be massive and on point, am sure majority of us who have been opportune to listen to that album would agree that it is CERTIFIED DOPE. Olamide has grown since the days of Eni Duro which was his first official single, and I must say grown out of the Da Grin shadow(rest in peace) to become a man of his own. Whether he is now better than Da Grin or not is an argument for another day.

Why call him king of the streets? This is because his music is at a level where every hustler can relate too whether educated or not on the streets, Olamide’s music has breached that gap, his delivery is dope and lyrics are insane, sometimes I listen to this guy and just bust out laughing cuz he’s so down with the streets way of life, in vogue with the current slangs and that’s what is working for him selling him to the world. In the first quarter of this year after the release and success of his YBNL album he followed it up with a SINGLE that went viral and became a street anthem and a club tune Titled BADOO I’m sure you remember “she carry front she carry back she’s too packaged I can’t leave her “ yeah that song there was a night I danced to that song in the club till I was soaked in sweat  crazy uhn, then you start to wonder what’s next for this dude what could be better than this, Then GBAM! He drops “DUROSOKE” Which am currently listening to as am writing this article the Yoruba Language infusion is SWEET maybe the best part of the song for me how he came about that masterstroke is left to our imagination. Currently the song is receiving massive air play everywhere; if you are out partying and the DJ doesn’t spin this track then you ought to find another happening spot ASAP.

There is no thought about it… this guy is a genius in his own right and one of the impressive things about him is that he is moving his music all on his own with no record Label, there were rumours about him signing onto Dbanj’s DB records last month after he was seen hanging out with the Star in U.S but on getting back to naija those rumours where squashed by him.
One thing is for sure this dude is going places and he’s definitely going to be around for some time. JE KO DUROSOKE OLLY THE STREETS GOT YOUR BACK. BADOOOOO BADDEST GUY EVER LIVET
